Yoga 101 is a great place for you to start if you have never done yoga before. It is also great for experienced practitioners looking to expand and improve on their yogic knowledge of asana! Each class will explore yoga in a fun, safe, comfortable, judgement-free environment. The format is open, so students are encouraged to ask questions as the class moves through different yoga poses, meditation, and breathing techniques. The hope of this class is to prepare new students to take other Open Level or Level 1 classes with confidence, body awareness, and familiarity with prop use and Sanskrit terminology.
